Moving Maryland Forward
I ran for the Maryland House of Delegates to continue to serve the citizens of Allegany and Washington Counties.
The challenges Maryland faces are great. Every elected official must work together, and they must lead in order to solve the issues.
Maryland was being viewed more and more as being less than friendly to businesses, taxpayers, drivers, sportsmen, families, farmers, well, it seemed pretty much everyone. This stopped with the election of Governor Larry Hogan.
As Marylanders were forced to reduce spending at home, the leaders of our state have increased state spending by more than a billion dollars every single year since 2007.
That’s more than $6 billion in total increases. Maryland increased spending by 11.6% alone in 2012, which according to the non-partisan National Governor’s Association is a larger increase than 46 other states.
It is a privilege to serve as your Delegate, over the next four years, I will pursue an agenda based on a shared vision of creating the conditions for health, happiness and prosperity for more Marylander’s and their families, and to restrain Annapolis from interfering in those pursuits.
I will advance and support proposals aimed at producing results in areas like education, health care, innovation and job growth. My solutions will be based on the conservative principles of self-reliance, faith in the individual, trust in the family and accountability in government. My goal – to ensure every Maryland resident has a fair shot at earning their success and achieving their dreams.
I pledge that if I am elected to serve as the people’s Delegate to represent District 1C, I will dedicate each and every day to address these issues, to work with all parties, to lead, and find a better way forward for our state!
